Sons of the Legion

Greetings from the SAL,

A big "thank you" to Ginger and Sharon for their efforts in getting the clubroom set up for the holidays, and setting up an area for the Toys for Tots collection drop off. Next year, the SAL promises to help with all that work. You did a fantastic job.
For those who took part in writing my son, James, while he was in Parris Island for his 13 week training to become a US Marine, my wife, Kathy and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
SAL membership.... if you are past due on your dues, lets get them paid up folks. They were due January 1, 2013. You have lost your priviledges until they are paid up, so lets settle up and take care of our SAL responsibility asap.
We will be having our SAL annual Corn Beef and Cabbage dinner on March 16th. This is to honor the American Legion's birthday (March 17th) while also celebrating St. Patty's Day. We start serving at 5pm. The menu includes: corn beef, cabbage, potatoes, roll and dessert. On March 30th, we will be hosting a Pork Chop dinner. The cost will be $8.00 and will start at 5pm, followed by "Loose Gravel".
   For God and Country,
   James Harrison
